Media & IT Ministry

The Media Ministry of OBC enhances corporate worship, provides multimedia materials for Christian education and delivers the gospel and encouraging content using relevant forms of communication. Utilizing new media, video, social networking and mobile technology, this ministry provide tools and content that our church family can use to help reach our community. The OBC Media Ministry provides the following resources:

 

  • OBC Website & mobile web app

  • LIVE streaming webcasts of all Sunday worship services and Wednesday Bible Study via Ustream

  • Archived videos of sermons, music, and promo videos via obctuscaloosa.org, Ustream, and YouTube

  • Social Media outreach via Facebook, Twitter (coming soon), YouTube

  • CD and DVD copies of Sunday morning services and some special events

  • Image Magnification (IMAG) of worship services (live, closed-circuit video on-screen in the Worship Center) 

  • Video graphics including worship lyrics and sermon outlines 

  • Production Lighting

 

Our ministry is staffed by a full-time Media Director and a team of volunteers. If God has gifted you with other talents that can be used to help our Media Ministry grow, we would love to talk with you and see how you can be involved in this exciting ministry.
